Experience
Hi! My name is Shannon, and I am a second-year student, currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Columbia University's School of Engineering and Applied Science. In high school, debate and mock-trial helped me to develop my professional social skills, which were a great help in getting me into my dream school. During that time, I was also a varsity track athlete/team captain, a member of both the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society, as well as doing lots of volunteer work which included helping students with English as a Second Language (ESL) to complete their classwork and homework after school. Currently, I am a board member of Columbia's Women in Cyber Security club, and my passions lie in Computer Science and social advocacy. With regard to work experience, I interned at Princeton University following my freshman year of college, and I look forward to working there again this upcoming summer!
