Experience
Mentor’s academic background: Environmental Science and Public Policy at Harvard University. In high school, my extracurriculars included captaining two varsity sports (Cross Country as well as Track & Field), participating in Model United Nations, participating on the Debate Team, and serving on the board of the National Honors Society at my high school. As an undergraduate, I am a member of the Women's Sailing Team as well as the MIT/Harvard Army ROTC program through which I will serve for three years of active duty service as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S Army following graduation. I have worked with the Department of Defense through the Harvard Undergraduate Foreign Policy Institute to brainstorm policy responses to threats in the Gulf of Guinea, as well as threats to democracy in NATO allied countries. In high school I was a National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalist, AP Scholar of Distinction, and Valedictorian of my class.
