Experience

Political Science and Creative Writing at the University of Chicago. My main extracurriculars in high school that helped with my college applications involved Creative Writing (novel writing) and Mock Trial. I was first chair and solo clarinet for my high school’s marching band, concert band, and symphonic orchestra, and first-chair tenor saxophone for our jazz band. I was a pre-trial attorney/understudy for Mock Trial in high school as well. In college, I have worked as a Legal Assistant for SkyIT, where I reviewed contracts, legal language in documents, and performed research. Additionally, I have worked for Disability Lead, the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, and the Santa Clara Public Defender’s Office as an intern. With regards to high school awards, I graduated with high honors in the top ten percent of my class. I also was selected to the Interlochen Summer Novel Writing Institute with a manuscript of one of my novel drafts. I am currently working on numerous manuscripts with the hopes of publishing at some point in the future.
