Experience
Alex finished his undergraduate study with a First Class Honour at the University of Bristol, UK. He did his undergraduate research focusing on DNA break repair at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Oxford. Afterwards, he continued researching genome integrity and DNA repair for his PhD at Weill Cornell Medicine and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. As the youngest ever student in his PhD program, at the age of 21, he has already had three research papers published or under review with his contribution. Meanwhile, Alex has won the best poster prize in one of the most significant genome integrity and DNA repair meetings.
