Water pollution in natural environments has become a major global problem in the last decades. Therefore, finding a balance in the water-related ecosystem regarding how it can repair itself without human industrial interference is crucial. This study not only used comparative experiments to investigate water purification by Aeromonas hydrophila and Epipremnum aureum individually but also to dive deep into their symbiotic relationship along with how this relationship benefits water conditions.
  • 2022-2023 China Thinks Big (CTB) Global Finals Team Showcase First Place Award

  • Published in YSA-CTB Journal

  • Three-person research team completed a field study in 20+ regions in 6 countries.

  • Designed a water purifier based on the research, constructed the 3D model for the cleaner, and recruited 200+ international volunteers to trial the cleaner.
