Water pollution in natural environments has become a major global problem in the last decades. Therefore, finding a balance in the water-related ecosystem regarding how it can repair itself without human industrial interference is crucial. In the process of the literature review, we found that biofilms can coexist with submerged plants, forming a symbiotic relationship that increases the efficiency of improving water conditions. Therefore, we proposed an aeromonas hydrophila-epipremnum aureum purificator model (abbreviated AE model in the article), which will be further introduced in the paper. This study not only used comparative experiments to investigate water purification by Aeromonas hydrophila and Epipremnum aureum individually but also to dive deep into their symbiotic relationship along with how this relationship benefits water conditions. The environmental factors we chose to alter include pH level, TDS (Total Dissolved Solids), dissolved oxygen, and EC values. We collected and tested samples from different water body around the world to make sure our mechanisms is practical and without the risk of causing biological invasion in different geological areas (Our samples come from more than 15 water bodies including the Mississippi River, the Great Lakes, the Pacific Ocean, the Yangzi River, etc.) Because the results of this established study could be applied to a larger scale by persuading the local agencies to utilize the mechanisms, it can solve the water-related ecosystem deterioration problem mentioned previously.
